FERRISBURGH

Ferrisburgh VT Land

Ferrisburgh is one of two northernmost towns in Addison County (Monkton is the other.) As Burlington has grown, so has Ferrisburgh. It is only 20 minutes to Burlington, but has retained a very rural feel and is only minutes to downtown Vergennes. Ferrisburgh extends east of Route 7 and west to Lake Champlain. There are two state parks in Ferrisburgh, both on the shores of Lake Champlain - Button Bay State Park and Kingsland Bay State Park. There is even the Little Otter Creek Waterfowl Area. The shoreline takes many sharp turns and tucks, so there are plenty of points and bays created along the shoreline. Ferrisburgh is home to the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum, the Rokeby Museum, and Basin Harbor Club.
