SALISBURY
Salisbury, just south of Middlebury, extends from the western edge of the Moosalamoo Mountain Range across many pastures, farmland, and forests to the Cornwall Swamp. Lake Dunmore is in both Salisbury and Leicester and provides the perfect spot for swimming, sailing, paddling fishing and skiing. Branbury State Park is on the eastern shore and Water Houses, home to Paddler’s Pub, is on the western shore. Salisbury has a vibrant community in the summer at Kampersville Campground and is busy with ice fisherman in the winter.
