Our success is largely due to the support of Addison County professionals - we rely on electricians, plumbers, builders, architects, septic professionals, photographers, surveyors, attorneys and lenders, to name a few. Although we can’t list all of you, we wanted to provide just a small taste of our gratitude, along with why, here...
We’ve been fielding numerous phone calls and emails from would-be-Vermonters. These are generally folks looking to make a move out of highly populated areas to the “safe haven” of Vermont. You might be wondering: Where will they work? Where will they live? Are they retired or working folks? Do they have children? Do they have a connection to Vermont? But what about the questions we’re getting from those desperate to find peace here in Addison County? If you run into any potential neighbor-transplants, please share this consolidated list of FAQ’s. Let’s welcome them “home” to VT!

Summer is here! What's on your To-Do List!? I always make one once Spring hits. There’s something about renewal that allows the mind to open to possibility. I also admit that the list is an ideal picture where every weekend is devoted to some great new adventure, new experience, new place, new pastime. I don’t usually accomplish most of it, but the list in and of itself is kind of motivational, so it’s well worth the daydreaming. In making my list this year, I asked our crew for recommendations. It grew to such lengths, that I’ve decided to break down our rec's into bite size pieces, so stay tuned in the coming weeks! Read more...

Lately it's been countless robo calls letting us know that our Google profile needs to be updated, that we have been pre-approved for a business line of credit, that we've got insurance options, or a "caller" warning us to "DO NOT HANG UP!..." Then we hang up, of course. But on the lucky occasion when there's a live voice on the other end of the line, how happy we are! ...READ MORE!

Things really heat up in the real estate industry as Spring approaches. When it's a hot market area (like Middlebury, Vermont), the temperature rises at lightening speed, with both sellers and buyers wanting to get into the game early to stay ahead of the pack. As a result, there can be a feverish pitch at our office on some days, and with it, a sense of urgency seeps into our calm-cool-and-collected demeanors.
Here at IPJ Real Estate our goal is to get our clients and customers ‘homeward bound’ in whatever capacity that means for them. With the Addison County’s Humane Society, Homeward Bound, our mission has expanded to four-legged friends as well! ...read more HERE!
People always tell you when you have kids that “it take a village to raise a child” - this is so clear in our community.
